3 Steps To Manifest Your Holiday Dreams

It’s about a week ago. My boyfriend, Brynley, and I are driving to the country. We pull into a random gas station about an hour away from home, and a guy approaches Brynley to ask him if he’s looking for parts for his car. Well, yes, absolutely! Just earlier that day he’d had a long-overdue visit to the garage. He talked to the mechanic about what needed to be done to get his car ready for winter, and the first thing was finding an affordable pair of winter tires. Nothing could be done until he had the tires. Brynley left the mechanic with snow tires on his mind, and just a few hours later a guy is offering him a pair for his exact model and year of car at an affordable rate…at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Weird, no?!

Or Manifesting?

Manifesting is a buzzword lately. I’ve been one to pray, but to manifest? Spirit Junkie and author, Gabrielle Bernstein, says, “We are always manifesting. Each thought we have creates an energy flow within and around our physical beings. This energy attracts its likeness. So if you’re thinking, “I suck,” then your energy kinda, well, sucks — and you attract sucky experiences.”

And if you’re thinking “I need to buy some affordable snow tires”, you might just bump into the exact guy who’s trying to sell those snow tires in the middle of nowhere.

I must say, my interest is piqued.

What is going on at the level of energy and thought is perhaps more than meets the eye. It all sounds a little new-agey or maybe kinda far-fetched like The Secret, but it’s made me wonder what Roald Dahl was getting at when he said, “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”

I want to believe in magic.

So, tell me, have you manifested anything lately? And also tell me, will you play along and manifest one particular thing over the Christmas holidays with me?

From 3 Easy Steps to Manifest Anything, here’s how we’re going to do it:

1) Request it. Decide what you want and declare it as a statement. Like, “I have a new, affordable pair of winter tires!”

2) Believe it. Believe the universe is scheming on your behalf, and if you just put your request out there, it will answer it in its time. (Read The Alchemist if you’re looking for some inspiration.)

3) Act. This is the key. Act according to the future you imagine. Let the vision and possibility of what you want for yourself create a new set of actions you wouldn’t have otherwise imagined.
